Is the stock market simulator free?
Yes, the beta is free on iPhone and the simulator is included. You start with $100,000 in simulated money.
Does it use real stock prices?
Yes. Orders are priced at the real market price rather than a made-up one. Data may be delayed.
Can I use it with friends?
Yes, and that is rather the point. The simulator sits inside a private group chat, so you can talk about what you are doing while you do it.
Is this a stock market game with prizes?
No. There is no contest, no prize and no per-member ranking. It is a simulated account with a record of what you did and a comparison against the S&P 500.
What is the difference between a simulator and paper trading?
They are the same thing. Paper trading is the older name for practicing with simulated money at real prices.
