Deleting your account can't be undone. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete it.
In the app
This works the same on iPhone and Android:
- Open StockChat and tap Profile.
- Tap Account, then Delete account.
- Confirm. You're signed out on every device.
Without the app
We don't keep your email address, so tell us enough to find your account: the name on your profile, how you sign in (Apple or Google), and the name of a group you're in. We'll check it matches, delete the account, and reply when it's done.

What gets deleted
- Your profile, name and profile photo
- Your lists, preferences and sign-in records
- Your membership in every group
- Groups where you are the only member, with their messages
- Your paper trading portfolio and orders, alerts and notification settings
- StockChat's access to your Sign in with Apple account, if you used it
What is kept
- Messages you sent stay in their groups, shown as from "Deleted user", because they are part of a shared conversation.
- Groups you own that have other members go to the member who joined first.
- Deleted data can stay in our encrypted backups for up to 35 days before it is overwritten.
